The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy of complex financial reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (STAT), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidance, and National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) requirements. This role plays a key part in quarterly and annual financial reporting, technical accounting research, regulatory compliance, and the development of accounting policies and procedures.
