**SUMMARY** The Plant Manager directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, quality, P\&L and other production\-related activities. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, handling, processing, and shipping of metals in the Metal Processing Center by performing the following duties. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** (Other duties may be assigned) * Provides overall supervision of the receiving, processing, inventory, and shipping of materials to provide production to meet company objectives and customer needs. * Investigates customer and branch complaints promptly and makes every attempt to correct. * Establishes and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards while maintaining strict process controls. * Develops, implements, and monitors a preventative maintenance schedule on all processing equipment, forklifts, vehicles, other necessary equipment, and building and grounds. * Analyzes production data to identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing or process improvements to reduce waste and optimize efficiency. * Manage plant budgets, including labor, m...
