Federal Signal is looking for an Assistant Controller to serve as a member of site Finance team, responsible for the accounting operations of assigned division(s) including generation of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records in accordance with a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, and ensuring reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. **Key Activities/Responsibilities :** * Provide support to BU Controller ensuring information is prepared and maintained in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for the jurisdictions in which the business unit operates as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Company standard policies and procedures (SPP). * Assist in maintaining internal control systems to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley requirements and Federal Signal Standards of Internal Controls (SICs) and confirm all documentation is prepared and completed in accordance with Company policy. * Hands on participation in the financial close process including preparing/reviewing journal entries, submission of results to Corporate, account reconciliations, providing financial information/analyt...
