We are a busy orthopedic practice looking for a full time, reliable and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) for our Waltham Office at 71 Border Road. Essential functions include: \* Experience with upper and lower extremity bracing, casting and splinting \* Athena EMR clinical chart preparation and clinical data entry including vitals \* Ability to apply and fit DME devices such as boots, splints, crutches and braces \* Insurance knowledge and experience with prior authorization for diagnostic testing, DME and RXS requests \* Clinical inventory control, management and stocking of exam rooms \* Phone triage and ancillary phone support The ideal candidate would be someone who can thrive in a team setting and make those around them better. We are looking for someone who is upbeat and comfortable with a fast paced, high volume orthopedic clinic. There may be circumstances where coverage is needed in our Cambridge location (625 Mount Auburn St) so we value flexibility and a positive attitude. Orthopedic experience is preferred.
