The \#HamFam is seeking a **Staff Accountant II** with a specialized focus in all things sales and use tax within a multi\-state organization. Our ideal candidate will have experience: preparing and reviewing sales tax filings in Vertex, researching state tax law, tracking nexus, reconciling the sales tax liability account, and leading audit support. You'll also handle registrations for new store openings and jurisdictions, manage exemption certificates, and work with a third\-party vendor on property tax reporting. A successful candidate will be a self\-starter that enjoys digging into research, improving processes, and collaborating with internal teams and various third party vendors. This position is on\-site in Alpharetta, GA at our Customer Support Center, working 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
