**Job Overview** ---------------- The Bridgeport Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key member of the finance team and the broader Hubbell NSI finance organization, reporting directly to the Bridgeport Controller. This role partners with the finance and operation functions to ensure the delivery of value\-added financial analysis and accounting support that leads to accurate and timely financial reporting and decision making while ensuring the internal customer requirements are satisfied on a regular basis. **A Day In The Life** --------------------- * Accounting \& Financial Reporting – Assists in a timely and accurate month\-end close, completing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and helps prepare monthly flux analysis. * Financial Planning \& Analysis – Supports the annual plan, monthly forecasts and longer\-range planning processes. * Operations Finance –Track and analyze plant performance against targets; evaluate material, labor, overhead, absorption, productivity, scrap and other manufacturing variances; and recommend corrective actions that improve operating performance. * Cost Accounting \& Inventory – Develop annual standard cost revaluation, support physi...
