**Overview** **Title: Estimating Manager** **Status: Full\-time** **Location: Houston, Texas** **Key Responsibilities** * Develop comprehensive cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated commercial construction projects. * Perform detailed quantity takeoffs based on drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. * Review and interpret construction plans and technical specifications. * Maintain organized estimating documentation and traceable quantity takeoff records. * Develop scopes of work across multiple trades and establish clear responsibility matrices. * Solicit, evaluate, and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and vendors. * Prepare summaries of material, subcontractor, vendor, and other project costs. * Coordinate distribution of drawings, specifications, and bid information to trade partners. * Incorporate project schedules, site logistics, staging, and phasing considerations into estimates. * Assist with analysis of building components and MEP systems. * Partner with operations and field teams to identify practical and cost\-efficient construction methods during preconstruction. * Coordinate bid\-day documentation, general requirements, and procure...
