Description

This position will manage the team of Accountants in all assignments, including Catalyst’s contribution (gift) revenue and related reconciliations, allocations, and analysis. The position oversees fixed assets schedule, inventory, and capital purchases accounting. The position is also responsible for coordinating the organization’s tax reporting and related tax schedules, as well as assisting the Controller in preparation of the organization’s financials. **Key Responsibilities:** * Recommends initiatives and implements changes to improve quality and services. * Identifies and determines cause of problems; develops and presents recommendations for improvement of established processes and practices. * Maintains contact with the Agency community and solicits feedback for improved services. * Maximizes productivity through use of appropriate tools, planned training and performance initiatives. * Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow. * Prepares progress reports; informs the Controller of project status; and deviation from goals.
