Summary Join the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and help advance cutting\-edge oral health research! In this role, you'll collaborate with scientists to design studies, apply advanced statistical methods, analyze complex clinical and research data, and translate findings into meaningful insights that inform scientific discovery, publications, and public health. Duties As a Statistician, GS\-1530\-12, your duties may include but are not limited to the following: Advise and collaborate with scientists in hypothesis formulation, determination of research design, and selection of data collection procedures and instruments. Initiate, formulate, plan, execute, and control statistical studies. Advise scientists on statistical analysis and interpretation of study results. Present results of analysis to the scientific community at professional meetings and conferences. Plan and carry out quality control programs. Identify inadequacies and inconsistencies in data, and develop procedures and methodology to modify the data.
