ATCS is looking for a strong **Senior** **Utility (Water/Wastewater) Engineer** to join our team in the Hampton Roads market. This individual will be based, ideally, in our **Virginia Beach, VA** office where we offer a hybrid work environment. Qualified candidates that are local to our **Newport News location** will also be considered. Qualified individuals will design and lead complex civil utility projects on a variety of public and private\-sector projects, coordinating closely with our project teams. We’re looking for strong technical water/wastewater expertise and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage tasks. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare civil design plans, profiles, and details and serve as a technical lead for water and wastewater utility projects; Perform hydraulic modeling and capacity analysis for water and sewer systems (as applicable). * Support and manage permitting efforts by preparing submittals and coordinating with local and state agencies. * Conduct site visits to support design development and construction\-phase services. * Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, clients and other engineering disciplines to support project delivery. * Ens...
