The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) Drainage Design Bureau provides analysis and design of safe, efficient, economical, and environmentally sensitive drainage facilities for NMDOT transportation projects. The Drainage Design Bureau supports project development efforts of the Districts and Design Regions with technical expertise in hydrology and hydraulics of structures including bridges, culverts, urban drainage and storm drains, and erosion and scour mitigation. The ultimate goal is to ensure economic design, constructibility, and sustainability of NMDOT drainage structures. As a valued new employee to NMDOT, you may be eligible to receive three (3\) days of administrative leave upon your start date.
