Accounting Director – Assisted Living Facility Sunshine Christian Homes is seeking an experienced and dependable **Accounting Director** to oversee the financial operations of our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail\-oriented, and knowledgeable in healthcare or assisted living accounting. MUST HAVE MEDICAID BILLING EXPERIENCE **Medicaid billing experience is required for this position.** Key Responsibilities * Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, billing, and general accounting. * Manage resident billing, collections, and Medicaid billing and reimbursements. * Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance. * Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable regulations. * Coordinate audits and work with external auditors. * Work closely with the Administrator and leadership team on financial planning and facility operations. * Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and company financial information.
