Description

**Position Title**: Exterior Structural CAE Engineer CAE Structural Engineer performs finite element\-based studies to virtually validate vehicle structure parts (component and sub\-system level) supporting the Engineering team with design guidance and performance prediction. **MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES** Leads the System Design Specification analysis, design development and resultsdocumentation of exterior systems components. Ability to create and modify finite element models that predicts vehicle structure performance by following the corporate requirements and procedures. Conduct CAE model audits. Help to develop new analytical capabilities for a better prediction and physical tests. Participates in global forums and meetings to share technical information about new procedures and new ways of simulation. Coordination with other areas such as: Design and Release Engineers, CAE teams, Digital Innovation, Suppliers, Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing, to develop integral solutions using math virtual simulations.
