**Position Summary** -------------------- The Controller is responsible for the financial management, billing integrity, and regulatory compliance of the organization's operations.**Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Oversee day\-to\-day accounting and financial reporting for month\-end close, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. * Coordinate internal and external audits, including accreditation reviews (e.g., ACHC, CHAP). * Prepare financial statements, board reports, and ad hoc analyses for executive leadership. * Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. * Oversee inventory costing, capitalization, and depreciation for durable medical equipment assets. * Manage billing and revenue reconciliation for hospice contracts, ensuring accurate per\-diem/capitated billing contract compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies with hospice partners. * Supervise, train, and mentor AR, AP, and accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred....
