**DESCRIPTION** --------------- Do you want to lead a global team of deep technical specialists who help the world's most ambitious organizations build on AWS relational database services? Are you energized by working directly with customers to solve complex data challenges, while building the team and mechanisms that scale your impact worldwide? As a Senior Manager, Specialist Solutions Architecture for Relational Databases, you will own the worldwide specialist SA strategy for Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL\-Compatible and MySQL\-Compatible), Amazon Aurora DSQL, Amazon RDS across open source engines (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB) and commercial engines (Oracle, SQL Server), and the AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). You will lead a geographically distributed team of specialist solutions architects who are recognized as the definitive technical authorities on these services. Your team engages directly with customers on their hardest problems: data modeling, heterogeneous and homogeneous migration planning, performance optimization, and architecture design at scale.
