Construction Quality Control (QC) Manager **Location:** Newport, Rhode Island **Work Setting:** On\-site We are seeking an experienced **Construction Quality Control Manager** for a naval construction project in Newport, Rhode Island. The QC Manager will oversee project quality control and verify that construction meets contract requirements, plans, and specifications. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage quality control activities across the project’s major construction trades. * Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality control documentation. * Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify resolution. * Work with project leadership and subcontractors to address quality issues. * Review construction work and materials for compliance with approved plans and specifications. * Apply knowledge of EM 385\-1\-1, hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability. **Required Qualifications** * At least **10 years of combined experience** as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on contracts of similar size and type involving the project’s major trades. * At least **four of those years as a QC Manager** . *...
