The Plant Operations Manager will lead all aspects of the manufacturing operations and continuous improvement activities of a plant, business unit or value stream to meet customer and company expectations. Drive best practices and share in the responsibility for developing, evaluating and improving the key performance indicators for all plant operations to include Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Profitability. Develop and lead supervisors in their leadership journey as well as achieving plant and company objectives. Partner with support departments for success, including but not limited to, Human Resources, Supply Chain Planning, Engineering, Safety, and Quality Control. Candidate must have knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; on\-going performance management; rewarding, coaching and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
