**About the role** SupplyX sources finish materials and FF\&E directly from factories across East Asia for multifamily, hospitality, and commercial construction clients. This role owns the supplier side of finish materials packages \- supporting precon during bidding, negotiating and awarding to factories, and holding suppliers accountable to spec, budget, and schedule through delivery. **Purchasing** * Support preconstruction during bidding with technical product information, value\-engineering and alternate\-material options, factory recommendations, and budget pricing and lead times * At award, negotiate pricing with factories and select the most qualified product and vendor for the scope * Review and approve cutsheets against specification before release to production * Manage submittal, sample, shop drawing, and approval cycles between factory, design team, and client * Own the quality control process \- pre\-production samples, in\-line and pre\-shipment inspection, and third\-party inspection coordination * Resolve damage, shortage, and non\-conformance claims with factories **Factory vetting \& vendor management** * Qualify new factories: capability and capacity assessment,...
