Welcome to Cherry Health \- video about Cherry Health This is a part time benefit eligible 24 hour per week position working on site at our Neighborhood Wellness Center: 1001 33rd St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508\. **Schedule:** * Sunday: 12 pm \- 3 pm * Monday \& Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. * Tuesday or Thursday : 8 am \- 1:00 pm \- float to other Cherry Health site **Primary Responsibilities:** * Conduct health screenings: + Lipid panel + Blood pressure + Diabetes/A1C and fasting glucose + BMI, height, and weight + COVID home tests * Use **iPad** voice translation if needed. * Educate patients on screening results. * Collaborate with a **Community Health Worker (CHW)** from Wayne State to connect patients with community resources. * Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and patient flow. **Overview of Position:** Under the direction of the RN Supervisor or Site Manager, the Medical Assistant supports the patient by actively participating in the interdisciplinary care team and assists providers in the delivery of primary care services.
