DOTD is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to serve as the **Traffic** expert while supervising lower\-level Engineers or Engineering Technicians. This position supports transportation projects and programs through design, review, and improvement of traffic control devices, traffic signals, signing, roadway geometric features and other traffic engineering improvements for transportation projects throughout Louisiana. This position supports the development and delivery of safe and efficient transportation infrastructure by applying engineering principles, conducting technical analysis, reviewing engineering plans and studies, and assisting with the development of traffic engineering solutions.
