**Bedford Public Schools** **Invites applications for the position of:** **Out of District Program Director (PreK\-12\)** **Long Term Substitute October \- December 2026** **.5 FTE** **Description:** Implement goals and objectives of the schools and the mission of the Special Education Department. To plan, organize, and supervise the staff and the instructional program for the Special Education Department for students ages 3\-22 **Responsibilities:** * Report to the Director of Special Education about matters of special education/regular education coordination relative to curriculum, instruction, assessment and IEP implementation. * Report to the Special Education Director regarding matters governed by special education regulations, policies and procedures and high profile cases. * Meet with other Program Administrators and Directors to discuss common problems and to suggest school policy. * Conduct regular meetings with department members to develop and to improve program content and practices. * Prepare special reports as requested by the Principals and Special Education Director. * Chair Initial and Re\-Evaluation Team Meetings (as necessary). * Consult on all complex special ed...
