The position serves as a senior resource to the Cabinet Secretary and executive leadership in advancing department priorities, resolving complex operational issues, and implementing initiatives that cross organizational boundaries. The position provides leadership for programs, projects, and operational functions as assigned and serves as a flexible executive resource for emerging issues and priorities identified by the Cabinet Secretary.
