**Job Overview** As our company grows, we are seeking a dynamic, detail\-oriented Controller to partner with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in overseeing the day\-to\-day operations of the accounting department. In this key role, you will lead accounting for multi\-company that operates in two North Carolina locations while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. **JOB DUTIES** * Manage the day\-to\-day operations of the accounting department; including accurate and timely processing of A/P and A/R. * Prepare GL reconciliations and journal entries, including management of the month\-end closing cycle. * Manage Fixed Assets and depreciation in conjunction with annual property tax reporting. * Support operations with analysis to help them evaluate spending trends and production results. * Manage cash flow and ensure periodic bank reconciliations are completed. * Manage intercompany transactions. * Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. * Assist with preparation of timely and complete financial statements including leadership role in managing external audits. * Financial reporting to support month\-end internal and ext...
