Job Description Carroll Dermatology is seeking an **experienced, dependable, and motivated Back Office Medical Assistant** to join our growing dermatology practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. We are looking for a professional, compassionate, and detail\-oriented individual who thrives in a fast\-paced medical environment, takes initiative, and works well independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience assisting with dermatologic procedures. Key Responsibilities * Room patients, obtain medical histories, and document chief complaints. * Assist the physician during dermatologic examinations and procedures. * Assist with skin biopsies, excisions, and Mohs surgery. * Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and surgical trays. * Perform wound care and dressing changes as directed by the physician. * Provide patients with preoperative and postoperative instructions. * Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). * Maintain biopsy logs, pathology results, and patient follow\-up. * Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control procedures. * Assist with ...
