Overview: **ABOUT THE POSITION** **TRANSPORTATION ROADWAY ENGINEER \| RICHMOND, VA \| VIRGINIA BEACH, VA \| HYBRID** VHB’s Richmond and Virginia Beach, VA offices are seeking a Transportation Roadway Engineer to join our growing Transportation team. In this role, you’ll help shape resilient, connected communities through the delivery of innovative roadway and multimodal transportation solutions across Virginia. Working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to projects that improve mobility, enhance safety, and support sustainable growth for the communities where people live, work, and thrive. Responsibilities include highway design, traffic management plan development, cost estimating, right\-of\-way and construction plan preparation, and coordination across complex transportation projects. Our clients include municipalities, VDOT and other state agencies, and private partners driving infrastructure investment throughout the region.
