**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline is required. Four years of directly related work experience in the principles of environmental/safety codes and regulations, and practices and techniques used in the conduct of environmental safety surveys, assessments, and accident investigations. Must have working knowledge of state and federal environmental standards, and industry standards applicable to environmental management. Experience with Environmental Health and Safety Programs in a transit environment is desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. In lieu of a degree, directly related work experience may be substituted on a year\-for\-year basis. **INTERVIEW SELECTION PROCESS:** The selection process may include one or more components to demonstrate applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities in job related areas.
