Description

The General Manager, Cherokee is responsible for the overall performance, leadership and development of the MetalMax Cherokee branch operations. The position will be accountable for driving profitable sales growth, operational performance, customer service, manufacturing, delivery, safety and employee development. The position will work closely with branch leadership and the MetalMax corporate office to identify opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, expand distribution capabilities and support future growth. Essential Functions: Provide leadership, coaching and accountability to the team helping them achieve sales, profitability, operational, customer service, safety and people objectives. Maintain accountability for the overall financial and operating performance of the branch. Achieve sales, gross margin, operating expense and profitability objectives and develop corrective action plans when results are below expectations. Aggressively develop business with new customers and maximize sales opportunities with existing customers throughout the area.
