The Bridge Bureau supports the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) Districts by providing technical expertise in bridge design, inspection, and maintenance. Within the Bridge Bureau are engineers and technicians who perform bridge design, bridge detailing, bridge inspections, maintenance of bridge inventory, bridge load ratings, bridge services during construction, and bridge specification writing. The Bridge Bureau is involved in every bridge in the State through all stages of a bridge's life: preliminary design, design, construction, routine inspection, maintenance/rehabilitation projects, demolition, and replacement. As a valued new employee to NMDOT, you may be eligible to receive three (3\) days of administrative leave upon your start date.
