**Eastern Excavating Co. Inc.** is looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented **Project Engineer** to join our team. We are a growing sitework construction company specializing in complete site development: clearing, grading, earthwork, utilities, paving, hardscapes etc. The Project Engineer will work closely with our Project Managers, Superintendents, Surveyor, subcontractors and suppliers to help keep projects organized, on schedule, properly documented, and financially successful **Responsibilities** * Coordinate with surveyor regarding layout, grades, elevations, utilities, and as\-built information. * Build project surface files for machine control, generate survey points for layout and create final as\-builts on AutoCad civil 3D or equivalent. * Review civil plans, specifications, and construction documents. * Help identify discrepancies between plans and actual field conditions. * Assist Project Managers with plan revisions, submittals, change orders, prepare and track RFIs and project correspondence. * Perform quantity takeoffs and track installed quantities throughout the project. * Assist with project estimating, pricing, and procurement. * Communicate professionally wi...
