Description

The **Physical Therapist** will evaluate and address children’s gross\-motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, motor planning, positioning, and functional participation within preschool and Early Intervention environments. Services are individualized and provided in collaboration with families, teachers, caregivers, and other members of the child’s interdisciplinary team. **Responsibilities** * Evaluate children’s gross\-motor, mobility, balance, strength, coordination, and functional movement needs. * Provide individualized physical therapy interventions consistent with the child’s IEP and identified goals. * Address functional skills including walking, running, jumping, climbing, stairs, transfers, positioning, balance, and playground participation. * Develop strategies that support children’s participation in classroom, preschool, and community routines. * Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, mobility supports, and environmental modifications when appropriate. * Provide caregiver, teacher, and staff education and training to promote carryover of PT strategies. * Collaborate with Special Instructors, Occupational Therapists, Speech\-Language...
