About this Job: **General Summary of Position** Manages the overall operations and administrative functions of the laboratory, providing leadership, direction, and support to all laboratory associates to ensure safe, efficient, and high\-quality patient care. Provides general oversight and coordination of laboratory activities, ensuring alignment across technical operations, quality, and accreditation functions. Partners closely with Technical Specialists, who maintain primary ownership of technical operations, validation, instrumentation, and competency, and with Quality and Accreditation leadership, who maintain primary ownership of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and inspection readiness. Supports integration and execution of laboratory priorities by facilitating communication, removing operational barriers, and ensuring consistency in practice across all sections. Assists the Director with financial management, including resource planning, staffing optimization, and cost stewardship.
