**Job Description:** The Purchase Specialist is responsible for coordinating the purchasing, inventory, and availability of maintenance, repair, and operational supplies required to support fleet and daily operations. This position works closely with the maintenance, shop, operations, and accounting departments to ensure that necessary parts, tools, supplies, and services are available when needed while maintaining accurate purchasing records and controlling costs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Purchase maintenance, repair, and operational supplies for trucks, trailers, shop equipment, and company facilities. * Obtain and compare vendor quotes, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. * Create and maintain purchase orders and purchasing records. * Monitor inventory levels and reorder commonly used parts and supplies as needed. * Coordinate with the shop and maintenance team to identify parts and materials required for repairs. * Maintain an organized record of vendors, pricing, purchase orders, invoices, and receipts. * Verify that received materials and parts match purchase orders and invoices. * Follow up with vendors regarding backorders, delayed shipments, inco...
