Amentum is seeking a **Software Engineer** to support Naval projects in Dahlgren, VA. This position will support the development, integration, testing, and deployment of software for DoW weapons and sensor systems. The Software Engineer will work as part of a cross\-functional systems and software engineering team supporting mission\-critical applications and modernization efforts. **Software Engineer Responsibilities Include:** * Develop, integrate, test, and deploy software in **C/C\+\+, Java, and/or Python**. * Support software requirements development, architecture, design, and testing. * Support modern weapon system software development, testing, and deployment activities. * Utilize development and collaboration tools including **Git, Jira, and static code analysis tools**. * Apply modern software development practices, including **Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps**. * Collaborate effectively within cross\-functional teams consisting of industry and government personnel. * Communicate technical information effectively with engineering personnel, customers, senior managers, and program managers. * Work independently and collaboratively to meet established program goals and schedules...
