**SUMMARY** Responsible for all aspects of the Purchasing Department, to support the goals of the organization and provide quality service through teamwork, shared responsibility, and innovative solutions. **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Develops methods and coordinates purchasing of designated supplies, materials, services, and equipment for the casino. * Establishes and implements short\-and long\-term organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures as relates to all purchasing functions; monitors and evaluates operation effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement. * Acts as negotiator between the Resort and vendors/suppliers on procurement contracts; keeps informed of all new developments relative to available resources; makes recommendations designed to reduce costs, updates systems and provides environmentally approved materials and services. * Reviews major procurement contracts, coordinates contract compliance, change orders and problem resolution in conformance with contract law and licensing requirements. * Monitors and maintains the approved vendor lists. * All other duties as assigned. **REPORTING LINE** You will report dir...
