Description

The Inventory Supervisor position holds the responsibility of coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the inventory team as well as monitoring the timely confirmation of adjustments, maintaining accurate inventory records and customer correspondence. * Coordinates, leads and performs the taking of physical inventories in accordance with ODW and customer requirements. * Coordinates the activities associated with product HOLD recalls and damage. * Coordinates damaged and defective products, ensuring it is accounted for and properly dispositioned. * Creates and uses Metrics to manage day\-to\-day operations and communicates performance to the customer. * Develops and implements purchasing and inventory control procedures and sequence of operations within department to optimize workflow With customers. * Monitors order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and customer contracts. * Reviews weekly inventory trends and discusses variations with appropriate staff members and customer. * Deals with supplier when serious variations arise in delivery, quality, price, or conditions. **Education and Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics.
