The Project Engineer (Structural \& Restoration) primarily performs engineering tasks and assists with project management throughout the project cycle from initial forensics / schematics through to construction. Projects include a wide variety of building types such as hospitals, condominiums, schools, government facilities and commercial offices This position is rooted in structural engineering with a varying balance of work on new structures and the restoration of existing structures and building envelopes. **Responsibilities generally include but are not limited to:** * Performing analysis and design for new or existing structures * Preparing plans, specifications and bid documents * Field work including forensic evaluations on existing buildings * Writing technical reports * Coordination with clients (architects, other engineers, general contractors, property managers and condo associations) * Construction administration including review of shop drawings, responding to contractor requests for information, field observations and pay application review An essential part of this role is working as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines, while providing q...
