Contract Specialist III \- (2602571\) Position Information The TxDOT Support Services Division is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Contract Specialist to assist in the procurement, execution and administration of highway improvement contracts for construction, renovation, repairs of TxDOT facilities, planning and management services. This position will require the individual to have extensive experience and knowledge in processing and managing requisitions and purchase orders in support of the division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to complete multiple assignments related to procurement and contract management initiatives within short time frames, while paying attention to detail, organizing and prioritizing all aspects of their work assignments. In this role, the Contract Specialist will be responsible for managing statewide lettings, contract development and execution of contracts and oversight of requisitions, purchase orders, payments, change orders, vendor performance, issues, escalations and contract closeouts.
