### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position in a short\-term acute care hospital, requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and AWHONN patient ratio adherence. ### **Details** * Labor and Delivery unit within a short\-term acute care hospital * Night shift schedule, 3x12\-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00 * Floats between units based on facility needs * On\-call required for low census situations only * Every other weekend required * Follows AWHONN patient ratio standards * Uses Epic for charting ### **Requirements** * Active RN license (Compact must be in hand at submission) * Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty required * BLS and NRP certifications required * AWHONN Intermediate certification required; AWHONN Advanced and STABLE preferred * Skilled in postpartum care, labor and delivery management, fetal monitoring, and sterile vaginal exams * Experience circulating for C\-sections and triaging obstetrical patients * Experience with external and internal fetal monitoring, includi...
