**Role Summary** The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for insuring shipping personnel complete all aspects of the shipping process. This includes checking and backing trailers to dock, loading trailers, palletizing partials, loading mail and freight, printing load sheets and keeping up with temperatures after loading. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervisor tracks employees’ punch times including in and out, break and lunch times. * Ensure all products are loaded out follow the FIFO program. * Ensure that clerks maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and shipment of finished goods. * Monitor shipping schedules, inventory and coordinate with transportation teams. * Verify shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping manifests. * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Train, coach, and supervise shipping personnel to ensure productivity and efficiency. * Monitor workload distribution and staffing needs to meet shipping deadlines. * Maintain accurate inventory control and shipping records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system. * Co...
