High Desert Medical Group is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to work in all clinical areas of the Urgent Care. This candidate will provide direct patient care under the guidelines of California State Nursing Practice Act. **Summary of Duties:** * Exercise universal precautions in all patient care. * Obtain complete and accurate vital signs and assist patients to exam rooms. * Obtain and document all pertinent information to patient EMR. * Anticipate, assist, and perform procedures ordered by the provider. * Maintain timely patient flow and room availability. * Maintain patient safety and confidentiality. * Responsible for blood withdrawal and IV therapy, including administration of medications. * Supervise patient care performed by Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses. * Assume responsibilities for narcotic medications as assigned. * Maintain crash cart, emergency drugs, and equipment as assigned. * Initiate and appropriately participate in a Code White, Code Blue, Code Grey, and Code Red within guidelines of scope of practice. * Perform other duties as assigned. *The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $48...
